Finding the Right Work for You feat. Avocado Cabbage Potato Toast

A friend of mine shared with me that she plans to leave her current career to go into a very technical field dealing with data analysis. I know this woman’s strengths and talents—she may have the ability to rock the data analytical world because she’s very smart, but there’s no doubt about it, this woman is a natural born counselor. She can get to the bottom of anyone’s issues with precision by asking the right questions, listening out for key phrases, watching body language, and more that I don’t even know about. And the result is, great advice that’s well thought out, delivered with care, and backed with the Bible so there’s weight to her insight.

Sometimes we can see things more clearly in others than we can see in ourselves, so I suggested that we go over some questions to give my friend some career change direction. When we went over these questions, it was very clear to her what opportunities to look for and what opportunities to create. Victory was won!

If you’re stuck trying to figure out what work you really should be doing, I encourage you to take some time to answer these 9 questions below. These questions come from a section in my book, Rise & Shine Bright at Work: 12 Powerful Mornings to Conquer the Office Shenanigans. The section is called “The Right Work for Me.” Discovering more vision for your work, and life is such a beautiful thing and I’m excited for you! Please share below something you discovered while answering the questions.
